one of my biggest fears is spiders
that being said,
not all spiders are deadly
google says only 6 people a year die to a spider bite
and then i kept reading and well
globally, about 5,000 people get bit by a spider every year
pretty unsettling huh?
and yaknow, all things considered,
that’s a pretty common fear for such low numbers.
so why is it that when those 6 deaths from a spider bite turns to 1,200 deaths
when that 5,000 people turns to 232,000
is it so ridiculous to be afraid?
why is it when i say i’m scared to walk to get the mail i get told “well not all men”
but when there’s a spider on the floor if i scream and ask for help that’s perfectly fine i’m not getting told “not all spiders”
but no
never mind
i don’t know what i was thinking
maybe i should have googled what those 1,200 deaths and those 232,000 victims were wearing before i get scared.
maybe i should stop and think;
do i look like i’m asking for it?
is my lipgloss too red?
am i being too flirtatious?
